![]() Yung Lean and the SadBoys are destined to dominate and shake things up in the Hip-Hop world. In 2014, Yung Lean has no plans of slowing down, he just finished his "Black Marble Tour" across the United States and Canada, and his new album Unknown Memory" is set to release later on this year. ![]() At such an early point in his career, he has already been recognized by major publications such as "The New York Times," and XXL Magazine included him in their list of "15 European Rappers You Should Know" Not bad for a guy who just celebrated his 18th birthday a little over a week ago. Many compare his style to other rappers such as Lil B and Main Attrakoinz. Many are drawn to his eccentric "off the beaten path" rapping style, speaking nonsensical lyrics over airy, psychedelic, and dreamlike beat patterns. The video now currently has over 2 million views on YouTube and over 1 million plays on Sound Cloud. His current discography consists of two mixtapes titled "SadBoys 2001"(2013) and "Unknown Death" (2013), and an EP titled "Lavender"(2013). Lean shot to internet fame after releasing his song and video for his single "Kyoto" in December of 2013. Since 2011, Young Lean has been preforming and recording with the "SadBoys," a group consisting of producers Yung Sherman and Yung Gud Shorty. Jonatan Leandoer Hastad, more formerly known as rapper "Yung Lean", was born and raised in Stockholm Sweden, and is garnering a fan base from all over the world in just a short period of time.
